Further Training

Regelmatig zorgen wij ervoor dat onze chauffeurs bijgeschoold worden volgens Code 95. Dit zorgt ervoor dat chauffeurs up-to-date blijven in de logistieke sector en voldoen aan de eisen voor professioneel rijgedrag en veiligheid. Code95 is een verplichte aantekening op het rijbewijs voor beroepschauffeurs in de EU. Wij zien het als een uitgelezen kans om chauffeurs te informeren over belangrijke onderwerpen.

Recently, we have provided our staff with additional training in the areas of temperature-controlled transport, customs procedures, and vehicle control. During the temperature-controlled transport training, our drivers learned how to better operate refrigeration technology in conditioned vehicles, identify malfunctions, and perform maintenance.

They requested for this training themselves, as they wanted more knowledge and insight into customs procedures. Topics such as the differences between T1, T2, and T5, sealing, veterinary inspections, and health certificates were covered during the course.

Recently, Brouwer Transport received eight new trucks, five DAFs and three Scanias. After the delivery of a new truck, the driver who will be permanently assigned to it receives extensive brand-specific training. This includes the latest truck technologies, such as Opticruise and Eco-Roll, which help save fuel and optimize driving behavior.

These training offer our drivers valuable opportunities to further develop their skills—both professionally, by improving driving techniques and knowledge of laws and regulations, and personally, by increasing their confidence and expertise.
